Community Chest Grant Awarded

Usk RFC Juniors have been successful in obtaining a grant, from the Monmouthshire Community Chest Panel, for £500. This will go towards two coaches attaining their next level in coaching, and equipment such as balls and cones.

We train on a Monday evening, between 6 - 7pm at Usk RFC. We have teams from each age group from U7 to U10 and U13’s. We are always looking to add new players, boys and girls. Players can try one session before they register but will need to be registered before any further sessions. If they are not registered (or in year 2 or year 3) then an adult must stay at the session. Unregistered players are also not insured. No previous Rugby experience is needed to play, come along and have a try!

Chair of Sport Wales, Professor Laura McAllister said: “Community Chest has been and continues to be a huge success across Wales. It is the hard work and commitment at this grassroots level that really makes a significant contribution to our ambitions of getting every child hooked on sport for life and creating a nation of champions”.
